Stump Grinding
South Carolina is full of trees and stump removal is a big problem requiring professional attention. So we decided to do something about it. We have the skill and equipment to make your stumps go away. This is what the typical unsightly stump looks like in your yard after a tree has been cut down. We showed this one because it is close to the house and we wanted to show how close we can get without damaging any of the surrounding structures or plants.
Cost - When we give you a free estimate, the cost will be based on the width of the stump and major roots, a service call fee, and any additional services you request. For example, a typical stump that is left on your property is 18" or less. if the stump is higher than 18" there will be an additional fee for chain saw work (like this stump on the right). Also, many homeowners prefer to clean up the area after we are done with the job.....they save the material for mulching. If you want us to clean up the area and haul away the material, there is an additional fee.

Our Equipment - At left, our state-of-the-art equipment goes to work on the stump. Passing back and forth across the area of the roots and the stump until it has been completely removed. In the hands of a skilled technician, this machinery can be moved into precise position to remove all of the material without any damage to the surrounding structure or plants. Should there be a need to remove any surrounding plant material, the homeowner will be asked for approval.
The Result - This is what the same space looks like a little while later. The stump and roots were ground away down below the surface of the ground......and the area cleaned up. In this case, the homeowner wanted the area cleaned up and the ground up material hauled away for an additional fee.
