WELCOME. Castle Rock Miniature Horse Farm is located in west-central Florida, about 1 hour inland from the Sarasota/Bradenton area. We have a small, but well-ordered farm, geared towards the care, well-being and comfort of our horses.

Our goal is to produce, show and sell champion quality show and family horses, with excellent conformation, movement, personality and color. Our senior herd Falabella stallion is GROSSHILL'S EL REY, an AMHA National Top Ten Senior Stallion who is tri-registered. Our lead Appaloosa stallion, SWEETWATER'S TEXAS SPOTTY, is a buckskin leopard appaloosa that has a huge eye, balanced trim barrel, an upright neck that he can really hook over and a beautiful head. Not only is he pretty, but he moves like a dream!

And we are proud to add THOMPKINS SILVERADO - A PIECE OF LIVING HISTORY IN THE GOLD MELODY BOY DYNASTY!!! Silverado is the last GOLD BOY stallion left. He is DNA TESTED 50% GOLD MELODY BOY BLOODLINESand LAB TESTED TO CARRY THE DILUTE GENE! We are also very proud of our junior stallions, several of which are siring for the first time this year, and who are also from some of the finest lines in miniature horses. We are expecting continuing great things from all our stallions.

We have not focused on any one line of breeding stock. We have purchased excellent blood lines from all over the United States. Many of our mares are show horses themselves, and some are the outstanding get of champions. The great FOUNDATION SIRES of the Miniature Horse World are well represented, as we breed for the qualities we hope will continue to improve the breed.

Several of our horses are registered, rare 100% Falabella's and Falabella Blends. There are less than 900 living pure Falabellas registered in the FMHA (Falabella Miniature Horse Association). Only small herds are known to exist in most countries and their number is estimated to be only a few thousand in the entire World. Pure Falabellas make up a tiny part of the ever growing number of AMHA and AMHR registered American Miniatures. The FMHA believes that a Miniature Horse who can trace 100% of their ancestry back to the Argentina horses should be honored as a Fallabella Miniature Horse (FMHA). We are pleased that several of our horses and foals carry the very prestigious Falabella Miniature Horse Association registration (FMHA) or Falabella Blend Registration (FBR) Certificate.

Our horses routinely receive excellent individualized care, from monitored feedings to their routine health care including vaccinations, worming, hoof care, grooming and dental care. Each horse is loved as a unique personality, and our care is geared to bringing out the best in each horse, maximizing their strengths and minimizing their weaknesses through a carefully selected breeding program.

While most of our little ones have the conformation and breeding for the shows, we want a first-time owner to enjoy the unique personality of these great horses, and encourage you to experience the finest horse in the world—the MINIATURE horse.
