Contender Farms
Our farm is dedicated to breeding a true arabian in miniature combining the beauty and elegance of the Arenosa horses with selected crosses which include the bloodlines of Winks Jericho, Kid Lee, The Michigan horses and our latest addition to the barn McCARTHY'S ARISTOCRAT. National and Congress champion. ARISTOCRAT joins our senior stallion ESTABLO UNO DE MAYO who's first foal crop for CONTENDER FARMS will arrive in the summer.We strive to produce a horse of beauty and athletic ability which will excel in both halter and performance classes. In selecting our horses for the breeding barn their temperament was also of great importance, and all of our horses can be handled with ease and have exceptional trainability.Our stallions and mares are either National and/or Congress Champions or they are a son or daughter of proven champions in the show ring. It is a dream come true for us all to be here in East Texas where the horses can roam and graze in green pastures. We will be actively showing in 2009 and we'll have foals available for purchase in the summer. We have focused on AMHR/ASPC registered horses and will occasionally have a horse under 34 inches who could be hard shipped into AMHA. Visitors are always welcome at Contender Farms.
